King Dimensions is a company dedicated to the King of Kings.

It's more than a slogan, it's a way of life. We put God first in all we do. For this reason I wanted to dedicate a page of our web site to Him. I wanted to find a place to share with others the joy and peace that I have in my own life. It wasn't always that way, however.

I grew up in a religious home. It wasn't a Christian home, but it was religious. It was important for our family to go to church. Beyond that 45 minutes a week, however, life was much different.

Eight children, the early loss of our mother, surrounded by alcoholism and the disfunctionality that is associated with it, life was far from peaceful. As much as I could, I followed the footsteps I saw before me...and they weren't walking a very straight path.

I always knew there was something better out there, and I had heard the gospel message shared often throughout my life. It just seemed that the "good times", partying, drinking, selfish fulfillment at that expense of others, was just too good to give up.

As I grew older, I continued to search for something more. A friend was bold enough to sit me down and tell me that I wasn't alone. The bible tells us that we all sin, and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), and that this sin separates us from God (Roman 6:23), resulting in death (eternal separation). He asked if I knew where I would go if I were to die today.

I couldn't truthfully answer that question. I was taught that if you went to church, if you were good enough, you might stand a chance. Well, the truth is, there is NO way we can earn our way in. In John 14:6, Jesus answered them by saying "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Not only that, but faith is all we have to put this all together. Ephesians 2:8-9 says that by faith, we are saved, not of ourselves...it is a gift from God. Not of works lest anyone should boast.

This means that all we have to do is believe (Acts 16:34b) in Jesus and we'll be saved. He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16). It is simply a gift, and all we have to do is accept it.

The next step is what most people (myself included) find difficult. Taking the "leap of faith" to accept Christ into our lives. We feel we have to give something up. The reality is we get way more than we give.

A simple prayer, that goes something like this:

Dear Jesus, I know I'm a sinner. I want to be different. I want to change. Please forgive me for what I've done and come into my life. Change me from the inside out. Help me to walk the path you want me to. Thank you for this promise and this gift. In Jesus' name. Amen

In June of 1991, I prayed that prayer. Slowly but surely my life began to change. Through prayer and bible reading, I've learned about the things that our Creator wants us to do. How to treat each other. How to serve others. It's a process that will go on until I meet Him face to face.

This commitment, if it's from your heart, allows Jesus to be the center of your life. God doesn't promise that this will make your life perfect, but He does promise you eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ. Revelation 3:20 says He stands at the door and knocks, all He wants is for you to let Him in, and He'll come.

I pray that you invite Him in.

God Bless
